La Jolla Village…
Downtown La Jolla or the “Village” is the oldest
section of La Jolla and dates back to 1888. Built
like a European walking town the Village is well
known for its over 40 art galleries, shops, seaside
parks, and beaches. The Village is also home to the
Museum of Contemporary Art and over 100 of the
most acclaimed restaurants in all of Southern
California. Homes here range from small beach
cottages, to ocean front
condominiums, to spectacular seaside homes.
La Jolla…
La Jolla is an upscale community located just 12
miles north of Downtown San Diego. Home to at least
38,000 residents, it is recognized as one of San
Diego City’s most affluent and scenic residential
areas. La Jolla which is Spanish for the Jewel takes
pride not just in its growing commercial district,
the diversity of its business establishments, or its
lovely, well-built homes. This community also boasts
of around 7 miles of spectacular shoreline, not to
mention the stately Mount Soledad and its
surrounding hills. In La Jolla, one can also find
the
Torrey Pines Golf Course, a world-class public
golf course, the only one of its kind in the
PGA circuit.
Because of its pleasant, sunny climate, its
proximity to the ocean, and its celebrated
collection of shops and restaurants, the demand for
property in La Jolla is consistently high, most
especially for those that overlook the ocean. It is
also in La Jolla where one can find the
University
of California at San Diego (UCSD), as well as other
reputable
La Jolla schools. It is, without a doubt, a
superb place not only for leisure, but also for
anyone to live and work in.
No wonder La Jolla is such a popular choice for
people who want the hospitable atmosphere of a small
town plus the benefits of urban living. For your
